Jim Glab is a veteran travel reporter/editor and freelance writer who recently relocated to Boulder, Colorado after many years living in New York City. He is a contributing editor at Executive Travel magazine, a co-author of the book "Rapid Descent: Deregulation and the Shakeout in the Airlines" (Simon & Schuster, 1994), and has written for many magazines, including Travel + Leisure, Budget Travel, Consumer Reports Travel Letter, Parents, Frequent Flyer, Travel Weekly and Air Transport World, among others. He has also made many TV appearances discussing airline and travel topics, on media outlets like CNN, CNBC, MSNBC and ABC World News Tonight. Jim has traveled to some 50 countries and sailed on a dozen cruise lines. Among his favorite travel mementos is a first-class menu from Pan Am's around-the-world flight.
Jim writes a weekly e-mail newsletter on the latest airline and business travel developments for Executive Travel and Skyguide (www.skyguide.net) as well as a weekly "Hot Deals" newsletter for Travel + Leisure magazine (www.travelandleisure.com/hotdeals).
