Southwest sets schedules for Milwaukee debutThis is a featured page

Service will begin November 1

Southwest Airlines will add yet another new city to its network on November 1, when it begins flying out of Milwaukee’s Mitchell International Airport to six cities. The low-cost carrier said its initial schedule for MKE will include three daily flights to Baltimore/Washington International, three to Kansas City, two to Las Vegas, two to Orlando and one each to Phoenix and Tampa Bay. Southwest will use two gates in Terminal D at the airport, and expects to have about 40 full-time employees there. Southwest has already added Minneapolis-St. Paul and New York LaGuardia to its route map this year, and is due to launch service out of Boston later this summer.
